Kristi was born to the union of Betty and George Greer. Kristi grew up in the Seattle Metropolitan area of Madrona – Central District She attended Seattle public schools. Later in life, received certification, as a Dental Assistant and Medical Assistant. She worked for John Thompson Dentistry, University of Washington and Harborview Hospital.
Kristi had a knack for making you laugh. She also was a gourmet cook. She was a caring mother to her 3 daughter’s whom she leaves to mourn, Kristin, Bethany and Harper. A granddaughter Desiree. Eight siblings Celeste, Carlos ( AKA bumpy) Janine, Juan, Debra, Regina, Sherry (Patrick) Tanellie (Clezetta). A host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Kristi will be missed, but will remain forever in our hearts.

In Loving Memory of Easter Ray Taylor (Sallis)
Easter Ray Taylor (Sallis) joined the Lord on Monday, May 22, 2017 in Seattle, WA. Easter was born March 30, 1917 in Ft. Gibson, Ok to Henry and Sarah (Balls) Sallis. She attended school in Ft. Gibson, Ok. She gave her life to The Lord at an early age and was a charter member of Rosehill Missionary Baptist Church until she was unable to attend due to her health.
Easter moved to Seattle in the 1940’s with her first husband, Oscar Taylor, and their three children. She was employed at the Claremont Hotel, Seattle, WA as a domestic engineer and retired after 40 years.
Easter was married to the love of her life Bo Aaron Taylor in 1950 and they raised two grandchildren Larry and Michelle into adulthood.
Easter leaves to celebrate and cherish her memory one brother Reuben Sallis (Viola) her grandchildren Larry Darnell Taylor, Sr, Michelle Nairn, Pamela Ellis-Bruce, Arthur Jefferson, Grace Jefferson, Jamesetta Jefferson, Monica Jefferson, Henry Jefferson, Jr., Icie Tiesha Jefferson, Dolores, Jill, Patricia and Michael Cain, David and Oscar Taylor, Jr. (all from the Seattle area) and David Nichols (Kansas) and four generations of husband Taylor grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of loving extended family and friends.
Services was held, Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Rosehill Baptist Church at 12:00 pm. A viewing was be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 1:00-5:00 pm at Southwest Mortuary, 9021 Rainier Ave So., Seattle, WA.

Our father, Elder Howard Berry 89, of Kent, Washington passed away, Friday, May 26, 2017 after a brief illness. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church 2801 South Jackson Street, Seattle, Washington.
Our father, was born April 3, 1928 in Birmingham, Alabama to Albert and Margie Berry. He attended Powderly School after which he entered the United States Navy and served for 26 years.
While attending church one Sunday, he met and later married the love of his life, Ms. Arletha Ward in Norfolk, Virginia on September 9, 1946.
Our father was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Arletha. He leaves to celebrate his life his eight (8) children, Audrey, Howard, Reginald (Sharon), Michelle (Richard Anthony), David (Gina), William Albert (Leatrice) all of Seattle area, Charlene (Memphis, TN) Frederick (Brenda) of Modesto, California.
26 Grandchildren; 25 Great Grandchildren; and 5 Great Great Grandchildren; His sister, Mildred Hall; sister-in law, Carrie Beny; and many relatives, close friends and neighbors.

In Loving Memory of Cynthia Ann Lucas
Born May 18, 1949 in New Orleans, LA to Joseph & Delores Lucas.
Cynthia graduated from George Washington Carver High School in 1966. She then married Jerry Jones in 1967,
They relocated to Seattle, where Cynthia gave birth to Jerry Lee Jones Jr. in 1968. Her only child, who preceded her in death on Jan 17, 2015. While raising her son as a single mother Cynthia earned her AA degree from Seattle Central Community College, a certificate in Computer Science from ITT Business School and her BA degree from Evergreen College in 1994.
Cynthia worked as a paralegal and then was employed at Swedish Hospital as a Medical Secretary. Her hobbies were sewing, cooking, and gardening. If you were fortunate to taste her gumbo, cakes, pies, and pecan candy, you were truly in for a treat.
Cynthia passed away on Dec. 30, 2016 after a long illness.
Cynthia leaves to mourn her mother, Delores Paul; Father, Joseph Lucas Sr.; Grandson, Malik Jones of Portland Oregon; brother, Joseph Lucas Jr.; sisters, Josie Brown, and Vanessa Lucas; 4 nieces, 3 nephews, and 8 grand nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.
Cynthia interment was held Jan 17, 2017 in San Jose, CA. with her son, Jerry Lee Jones Jr.
Cynthia and Jerry Jr. will truly be missed, and never forgotten!!

Sandra Kay Callier Campbell, age 64, was called home on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Swedish Hospital. She was born on June 13, 1952 in Seattle Washington to Sam and Elizabeth Rhodes. She attended Franklin High School and later went on to work for the University of Washington for over 20 years. Sandra was a Christian woman with a beautiful and loving soul. She found great happiness in helping others and loved her family unconditionally. Sandra enjoyed playing bingo, softball bowling, cooking and spending time with her girlfriends at the casino. She is survived by her husband Leslie Campbell, her six children Elizabeth, Charles Dominick, Natasha, Lorenzo, and Andrew. Her five Brothers Samuel, Billy, Jerome, Leroy John and Landry and a host of family and friends. A viewing for Sandra was held, Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 10 AM to 5 PM , and a memorial service was held on Friday, May 19, 2017, 1 PM to 3 PM, at the Greenwood Memorial Park, 305 Monroe Ave. NE, Renton, WA 98056
There was a repass for family and friends following the service at the Rainier Beach Community Club, 6038 S. Pilgrim Street, Seattle WA 98118.

In Loving of Memory of Jeanette Hartwell Williams
Our beloved mother, Jeanette Hartwell Williams passed away peacefully on June 1, 2017 in Seattle, Washington. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on December 15, 1931 to Joseph Hartwell and Savannah Bruce. Jeanette was raised by her paternal grandparents – Alex and JoElla Hartwell. Jeanette was affectionately also known as ‘Sista’ by family and close friends.
As a child Jeanette loved to read and attended elementary and secondary school in Memphis, Tenn. In 1949, she graduated from Booker T. Washington High School with honors.
Jeanette attended St. Andrews Christian Methodist Episcopalian Church and later at the age of 15 she was baptized at the Mt.. Olivet Baptist Missionary Church in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1949, Jeanette’s grandfather- Alex Hartwell passed away. A year later, grandmother’s sister- Ida Mae Taylor and her husband – Eugene Taylor and their daughter Mardine and her husband James Purnell invited Jeanette, JoElla, and Jeanette’s two cousins – Eugene Hartwell, Jr. and LeRoy Hartwell to live in Seattle, Washington.
In 1954, Jeanette became a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. In 1955, Jeanette met a new neighbor named Luther D. Williams and on June 9, 1959 they were married at First African Methodist Episcopalian Church, in Seattle, Washington. From this union, four children were born –Lindsey, Lisa, David, and Quincy.
Over the years she was employed by the University of Washington Medical Center and the Seattle Public Schools (SPS). She was an advocate Social Worker for children and families in the Seattle Public Schools Child Development Program . Jeanette retired from the Seattle Public Schools after 22 years of service.
Jeanette was a great believer in education and was active on the Seattle Public Schools Desegregation Committee and Parent Teacher Association. She was a member of the Mount Baker Community Club and the Metropolitan Guild of the Seattle Children’s Hospital Odessa Brown Clinic. She enjoyed the theater, politics, and watching sports, and supported her children’s activities. Jeanette was a devoted wife and mother.
In 1998 after 39 years of marriage, Luther preceded Jeanette in death. Of her nine siblings, four sisters and three brothers have preceded her in death and cousin Eugene Hartwell, Jr. She is survived by her brother Hermond (Christine) Bruce, Chicago, Illinois, her sister Alfreda Arnold, Chicago, Illinois, and her cousin LeRoy Hartwell, Los Angeles, California, her children –Lindsey (Acquinetta), Lisa, David (Sharon), and Quincy Williams all of Seattle, Washington, and her grandsons Lewis and Brandon Williams, Houston, Texas, and granddaughters Kiarra and Amadi Williams, Seattle, Williams, she will be missed by a host of relatives and friends.
The viewing will be held at Southwest Mortuary, 9021 Rainier Ave. So, Seattle, Washington on June 8th form 2pm – 8pm and on June 9th from 9:30am – 10:45am. Services will be held at Southwest Mortuary on June 9th at 11am. Interment will be at Greenwood Memorial Park, Renton, Washington. The Repast will be held at the Lakewood Seward Park Community Club, 4916 South Angeline St., Seattle, Washington, 2pm -6pm.

Apostle Ivon J. Luster closed his eyes into Eternity on May 18, 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona. A prolific speaker, writer, and musician, Ivon leaves numerous friends and loved ones in Washington and across the nation to celebrate his memory. Blessed to bring him home to rest in peace are sisters Nadine Luster Poe, Sharon Luster Collins and Anita Luster of Seattle, WA.
